From the Addventure Club @ Speen School
The Forest School Association has recognised Speen School as a recognised Forest School Provider. Regardless of age, aptitude, or circumstance, we think that every young person should have life experiences outside of the classroom as a crucial aspect of education and personal growth. We are fortunate to have two forest school locations, one on school property and the other a 10-minute walk through a field away. We are able to provide weekly morning and afternoon programmes, rain or shine, for all kids from Little Apples Preschool through Year 2 since we are a certified Forest School.
Two of our employees have the Forest School Association certification on their resumes.
At another school, where I regularly assisted with forest school, I witnessed firsthand how it boosted students' self-esteem and worldview while also enhancing their gross motor abilities.
