From the Chestnut Tree Day Nursery
Chestnut Tree Day Nursery is a family run medium sized childrens nursery which has been operating by the current owners since 2004.
Each day, we have 60 children registered.
We aim to provide a fun filled day or session that creates learning opportunities for your child to grow and develop with individuality and confidence, working together with their parents and families to enhance their future well-being and life skills.
Within staff ratios, we strive to tailor your child's care as much as possible.
We at Chestnut Tree take our responsibilities to protect children very seriously.
The nursery has been designed to the highest standards in safety and security, offering an authorised door entry system and cctv monitoring, while still retaining a homely, caring environment in which each individual child is encouraged to develop and thrive socially and intellectually.
Here we record your childs development, following our confidentiality policy and procedure, as well as all the information you need to know for example how long have they slept, or what they have eaten.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum is integrated into our daily activities to make sure your child has learning opportunities to maximise their development through playing, exploring, physical activities, both indoors and outdoors, creative activities, IT, neighbourhood walks and community visits, story times, fun events, and charity fund raising.
