We think that protecting our environment and making simple, sustainable decisions now will leave our children and future generations with a healthier planet.
In order to be recognised for our efforts, we are trying to get an Eco-Schools Green Flag designation.
Please check the details regarding our reusable cloth diapers and wipes, as well as our travel itinerary, below.
There are no disposable diapers or wipes used at Deerness Valley Nursery.
We do this for a number of reasons, but mostly because we think it is the best course of action for minimising waste and, consequently, for the future of our children.
We concur with the post on The Nappy Lady's website (https://www.thenappylady.co.uk/news/plastic-disposable-single-use-v-cloth-nappies.html) that discusses studies done by the Environment Agency. Reusable diapers and wipes are a wonderful option for lowering landfill waste and the environmental impact of producing disposable diapers.
Little Lamb diapers are what we use, and we can get them for you cheaper.
If you wish to start using reusable diapers or increase your use, please get in contact. We can purchase them for you if you know what you want, or you can meet with Jenny for a consultation to discuss your needs.
