The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is a play-based curriculum for kids ages zero to five that enables them to explore and learn in a safe yet demanding setting.
Practitioners within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework offer activities and base assessment decisions on the seven areas of learning: three prime areas and four specific areas.
While all areas of learning are significant and interconnected, according to research on early child development, the three Prime areas are particularly important for fostering children's curiosity and excitement for learning, increasing their capacity to learn, make relationships, and flourish.
involves giving kids the chance to grow up in a linguistically diverse environment, to become comfortable expressing their needs, wants, and emotions, and to be able to talk and listen in a variety of situations.
involves helping kids construct strong, good self- and other-images, build relationships, and grow in respect for others in order to develop social skills and learn how to properly control their emotions.
Additionally, the kids' comprehension of appropriate behaviour and self-confidence are supported in this area.
helps kids learn the connections between sounds and letters so they may start reading and writing.
To pique their attention, kids are given access to a variety of reading resources.
involves giving kids the chance to explore, observe, and learn about people, places, technology, and the environment. This helps kids make sense of the world and their community.
encourages the sharing of thoughts, ideas, and feelings through a variety of activities in art, music, movement, dance, role-play, design, and technology. Enables kids to explore and play with a wide range of media and materials.
Parents are encouraged to participate in their children's education because the EYFS emphasises that parents are a child's primary educator.

Staff are brilliant. Management are useless and all about money. Constantly putting up daily fees for funded places, website say they are flexible and they aren't. They haven't had a parents evening for years. They took forever to do a my plan to get my child an ehcp, ended applying an ehcp myself. They didn't do regular sen meetings. Food are small amounts l, my child kept coming home hungry.
