Harlequin Nursery & Pre-School (established 1992), is located overlooking the sea near Peasholm Park in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, UK.
Harlequin Nursery & Pre-School is for children from 3 months to 5 years.
Harlequin Nursery & Pre-School provides a stimulating and happy environment with high quality care and education.
As the children grow they mix and play together supporting the development of their physical and social skills.
Using everyday opportunities and varied play experiences we encourage each child to develop at an individual pace to reach their own potential.
Our team are continuing to develop their STEM program, to teach the children about Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, which allows the children to explore different things, observe how they are made or move and then ask questions, to enhance key skills such as reasoning, predicting, hypothesising and problem-solving.
Harlequin Nursery & Pre-School is a bright and spacious house with 3 separate nursery rooms, each accommodating different age groups.
Each room is equipped with a full range of suitable learning experiences.
Nadine has 16 years experience working in Childrens day-nurseries in South Yorkshire and she works with Leanne (Manager) on the day-to-day management of the Nursery.
The nursery is well situated to enable the children to visit the beach and Peasholm Park.
This helps your child to become familiar with the nursery environment and you to develop a relationship with the staff.
Our Manager Leanne has been working at Harlequin Nursery & Pre-School since 2000.
All staff hold relevant childcare NVQ qualifications and attend regular training sessions to further develop their skills and knowledge.
The latest OFSTED inspection was on 8th October 2019.
We were judged to be a GOOD Early Years Provider.
