Depending on their needs, kids can attend for a full week or a combination of days and half days.
By allowing them the chance to grow by playing, exploring, and learning with others in a setting that is secure, child-focused, and most importantly, joyful and enjoyable, we hope to foster each of our children as unique people.
Maureen Edge, who was the head of Four Oaks First School at the time, founded the tiny, privately owned day nursery Just for Starters in 1993.
In May 2019, Deb Jervis, the nursery's current owner and certified instructor, took over.
All of our nursery nurses are level 3 certified and continually strive to stay up to date with early childhood education trends in order to provide the children with an engaging and pleasant learning environment.
The Nursery is a purpose-built, single-story, open-concept building that houses a daily cap of 36 children between the ages of 2 and 5.
Our location is within the Four Oaks Primary School complex, which may be accessed via the Russell Bank Road entrance.
All of this contributes to creating a more seamless transition from nursery to school, whether it happens to be at Four Oaks or not.
As we feel a collaborative approach is ideal for promoting our children's growth and well-being, we cherish our parent partnerships and urge parents to join our activities.
