The partners and employees of Little Bears Forest Preschool are thrilled to run a Forest School environment with an emphasis on healthy living and learning outside.
While the location of the preschool and its surroundings in a fantastic natural setting support the offering, the preschool's main focus is the happiness, well-being, and growth of the kids and staff.
When the children leave our care, we want them to be capable, self-reliant, and creative learners.
A learner-centered approach is made possible by Forest School, which offers a practical learning environment in the great outdoors.
In my training as a Forest School leader, I earned the designation of "Passionate Enthuser."
While we are fortunate to have a great light and airy setting that is also cosy, homey, and friendly, we are also surrounded by a fantastic outdoor space.
As a result, while they are with us, our Little Bears can feel protected and comfortable.
We have designed a setting that invites the outdoors in, enabling kids to regularly form relationships with the natural world.
I am an enthusiastic and motivated early childhood educator with an exciting vision for a dynamic, interesting, and enjoyable programme to deliver the early childhood curriculum.
I have a strong interest in special educational needs, and during the past seven years, I've had the good fortune to take part in a wide range of specialist training in this field.
In 2010, I received my Early Childhood Care and Education degree with honours from Portsmouth University.
Along with me, my daughters Hannah and Megan make up a terrific team that also includes Jana, Erin, Faye, Tasha, Anne, and Andrea.
