In September 2012, Milky Way Pre-School Playgroup opened. It serves the neighborhood's largely Bangladeshi and other culturally diverse people out of a sizable room in the Greater Manchester Bangladeshi Community Centre (GMBA) at Birch Lane.
Four employees, including the teacher/manager Mr. Monsur A Khan (M. Com., PGCE, CSS.pecu), are employed full-time at the playgroup, which has 15 full-time spots.
The program's goal is to provide children in our care with the greatest possible start during their formative years by offering a variety of learning opportunities and exciting activities that will allow them to grow and develop as individuals in a positive atmosphere.
We provide opportunities for a variety of experiences from outside visitors, such as local services, parents with special skills, or parents who simply enjoy helping with particular activities. All of these experiences have an impact on the kids' learning.
To offer high-quality care, we adhere to the Foundation Stage Curriculum for the Early Years. The Manchester Quality Assurance Team is cooperating with us.
We currently only function throughout the academic year. Offer split sessions, flexible hours to fit working parents' needs for children aged 2 to 4, and sessional care from 9:00 to 4:00.
