The result of more than thirty years of expertise in childcare and education is Stepping Stones Day Nursery & Preschool.
We at Stepping Stones want to make this time as joyful as possible since we recognise that entering nursery is a significant milestone for both you and your child. I am the owner, manager, and mother of four grown children and four grandkids.
Our Reggio Emelia-inspired methodology adheres to a learning philosophy that is centred on experiential, child-led learning.
Through an individualised curriculum, the children explore and learn about the values of personal responsibility, respect for others and the environment, and a strong feeling of community.
Additionally, our qualified practitioners scaffold the children's learning using the Planning In The Moment technique, which guarantees that the bulk of time is spent interacting with the kids rather than on paperwork.
We serve wholesome, nutritional meals, snacks, and drinks all day long at our nursery.
Our crew is extremely skilled and knowledgeable in child care and education, and Catherine, the owner and nursery manager, is leading the charge.
At Stepping Stones Day Nursery and Preschool, we only choose the most compassionate, knowledgeable, and qualified staff members who share our commitment to giving our kids the best possible care and education. When I was raising my own four children, I also started my work in early years education as a childminder. My interest in children's development started more than thirty years ago.
In the years that followed, I taught in day nurseries and preschools and ran and owned them both in England and overseas.
Stepping Stones Day Nursery & Preschool was founded as a result of the accumulation of all these experiences.
