At Lancaster & Morecambe College, the nursery has recently been taken over by us.
It is a welcoming, family-owned nursery, led by sisters Lyndsey Hunter, Joanne Steel, and Kerry Maude, just like our Lancaster nursery.
It emphasises the importance of providing children with care and education in a family-like setting as opposed to a huge institution.
Children benefit from having a strong feeling of belonging as well as increased confidence and self-esteem.
The Early Years Foundation Stage serves as a guide for the educational and developmental services provided to children. The Early Years Foundation Stage's commitments and themes are reflected in our programme. Play helps young children to learn and develop through doing and talking, which research has shown to be the means by which young children learn to think.
