The UCL Day Nursery is open for approximately 49 weeks per year and closes at normal UCL closure periods, such as on bank holidays and closures at both Christmas and Easter.
Children have plenty of time to engage in the morning activities thanks to the staff's assistance in settling the youngster into the routine.
It is mandatory for parents to pick up their kids from the nursery no later than 5.20 p.m.
This will give you enough time to discuss your child's day with the staff, see what your child has been up to, and get their possessions.
The Nursery Manager or the staff in your kid's room must be notified in advance if someone else will be picking up your child.
This person must be listed on your child's record as a person authorised to pick him or her up and must be known to the nursery personnel.
Calling as soon as possible to let us know that your child won't be attending the nursery is greatly appreciated.
You need the entrance code in order to enter the Nursery.
The UCL Day Nursery may not be able to open if London transportation services are suspended because, in accordance with its terms of registration, it is not allowed to run a service without a sufficient number of employees and a senior member of the team present.
Parents are asked to let the manager know as soon as possible if they plan to utilise the Nursery on the scheduled day in the event that public transportation is disrupted so that the manager is aware of how many kids can be expected to attend.
