From the Wendy House Nursery
For the children of NHS employees and public sector employees, we provide two full-day childcare nurseries: Sussex House Nursery in Brighton and Wendy House Nursery in Haywards Heath.
For kids from six months to five years old, the nurseries offer care and instruction.
Our talented staff helps kids realise their greatest potential. All children are unique individuals who learn and grow at varying speeds and stages, as acknowledged by our team. Children participate in a rich curriculum through age-related, not age-dependent, playrooms where their unique interests and development are adequately supported by scheduled activities.
We provide a wide range of learning opportunities that are supported by the early years foundation stage areas of learning and involve the senses, creativity, and social interaction.
By allowing access to materials in both indoor and outdoor settings, children are encouraged to become autonomous learners. Participating in various off-site activities, such as a visit to the library, church, neighbourhood stores, theatre, or park, gives them the chance to learn about their community and beyond.
