Greetings from Clapgate!
Natasha Singleton is the head of school; my name is Natasha.
I'm hoping that you gain a clear understanding of Clapgate from our website.
On the other hand, we have made an effort to convey the vigour, optimism, warmth, and vitality of our school on our website.
We are very thrilled about what Clapgate can provide for kids and families.
We make sure that everyone is having a tonne of fun and that our kids are engaging in active learning.
Our end-of-year productions, which must be seen to be believed, our whole school end-of-art show, a new addition to the opportunities the kids get to showcase their excellence in art, and our three-year streak of Gold Gamesmark recognition are all examples of how we nurture the talents of our kids. We are currently working towards platinum Artsmark status.
Our emphasis on outdoor learning and active learning also helps our kids feel good about themselves.
Children at Clapgate perform incredibly well, and we are quite happy that our Key Stage 2 scores and progress statistics are now better than local and national averages.
At Clapgate, nothing ever stops moving, and everyone on staff supports our commitment to ongoing innovation and improvement.
Through the Red Kite teaching alliance, our creative learning leader and deputy head are involved in providing training to aspiring teachers throughout Leeds and into North Yorkshire this year, and our math leader is in charge of organising meetings for the alliance's maths network.
Don't forget to check out the Pupdates tab (under news and events) for images of our new school puppy, and be sure to visit the art room page (under children/class pages) to see some amazing artwork.
Our website has a new feature that collects all the kind remarks that parents and students have made about our school (under News and Events, Visitor, Parent and Pupil Voice).
Visits to the school are encouraged.
