Explore this website as much as you like; we hope it will provide you with useful information about our offerings and an impression of what it's like to be a member of our school community. Our students travel from all across Wakefield and even farther afield to take advantage of our exceptional pastoral care, highly specialised instruction, and extensive range of specialised support services and interventions we offer through our individualised programmes. If you would like to visit the school, please get in touch. You can find our contact information in the contact us area. We take delight in developing our students' abilities and talents, celebrating their uniqueness, and assisting them in becoming self-sufficient adults. Our overall goal is to make sure that every student is adequately equipped for their next stage of life, whether it be finding a fulfilling job, continuing their education, or living independently or with support. Our motto is "Believe we can achieve" for this reason. Our Post 16 programme officially began in 2014, and as of right now, it serves almost 40 students in years 12, 13, and 14. Our sixth-form students follow a variety of paths, including the incredibly popular internship programme run in collaboration with the Pinderfields NHS Trust and intended to promote transition to fulfilling work. Being able to recognise the accomplishments of our first group of interns, one of whom has already landed a permanent position with the NHS, makes us very happy. In the not too distant future, we look forward to sharing more success stories. Our collaborations are vital to us, but our relationship with parents and carers is the most crucial. We firmly believe that no child should be left behind, and we collaborate closely with parents to make sure we fulfil this commitment to each and every student.
