Welcome to the Governors' newsletter for The Horsell Village School.
This letter's purpose is to describe the work that the school's governors do.
Being a vital friend and assisting Jane Reeve and the team in establishing the school's direction and tone, as well as ensuring that the relevant policies and procedures are in place and followed, is a significant part of our responsibility.
Before making any decisions, we consider how they will benefit the students at The Horsell Village School.
Ten governors make up the HVS Governing Body, including Miss May, our staff representative.
Nearly all of us have had children at the school at some point, and five of our governors are parents of current students.
Please visit the "Meet the Governors" part of the Parents Information page on the school website if you'd like to see pictures of us all.
Twice a term, these committees convene.
Additionally, at a Full Governors Board meeting, all governors gather every term.
The purpose of this is to keep everyone in our school community informed about the kinds of challenges and support measures that the HVS Governors are taking.
The governors' email address is [email protected] if you want to get in touch with them.
