More in-depth subject knowledge, as well as debate and inquiry abilities, are required for teaching in the sixth form than in secondary schools.
The majority of the curriculum at JCC is made up of Level 3 courses for the BTEC Extended Diploma and A-levels.
We also offer a range of Level 2 qualifications to post-16 students.
You will have a huge influence on the futures of the children you teach since teaching is all about making a difference in their lives.
The support provided by colleges for freshly licenced instructors is more equivalent to what institutions offer.
Further education does not require qualified teacher status, in contrast to schools.
Regardless of whether you have a secondary or a higher degree, we will help you become a certified teacher.
We provide an Indication Tutor to help all NQTs finish their first year of teaching and achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status.

Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College Reviews

The students are kind and polite and the teachers are very supportive. However, I feel they should push their students more. There are many available bus routes to this school making it extremely convenient. My nephew currently attends this college and he has been thriving ever since he has attended.
