Thanks for visiting Newtown Primary School. Visitors to our school frequently remark on how proud the students are of their behaviour and their academic achievements. High expectations and a strong behaviour ethos underpin these schoolwide qualities. The school is also highly recognised for its sense of humour. Children learn via pleasant and interesting experiences thanks to dress-up days and numerous opportunities for them to perform in assemblies, shows, and groups. The wonderful grounds at the school have been improved over time to aid in the learning and development of the students. We now have vegetable gardens, flower areas, and an outdoor classroom. Children learn to appreciate and take care of their surroundings through these extracurricular learning opportunities. Another asset of Newtown Primary School is its sense of community. They not only go out of their way to make incoming families and staff feel welcome, but they also provide the school with a variety of services. A PTA that is active invests time in raising money for the school. Popular and pleasant events include summer fairs and school discos. We are a friendly school, so if you'd like to visit or learn more about what we do, please get in touch with the office, where the staff will be happy to help.
