Our objective is that all of our children will have wonderful childhoods and obtain excellent education. Both children and adults feel safe enough to learn and develop. At Newtown, we put a lot of effort into giving every student the chance to live up to our school's goals and become successful students, responsible citizens, and resilient individuals. Thanks to the way our curriculum and services are set up, all kids can learn and internalise these vital life skills. Each child will begin from a different place than the next, but it is our goal to make sure every child exemplifies these qualities in order for them to fit in, believe in themselves, and succeed at Newtown and throughout their lives. Our conviction is that each child will live their lives with self-sufficiency and contribute positively to the world around them if they can show resilience when faced with adversity, be responsible with their actions and choices, and have the ability and skills to be good learners.
