For youngsters with a variety of learning challenges, ages 2 to 11, Norman Gate School is a primary institution.
We have about 60 students enrolled in our school, with an average of 12 students in each class, one teacher, and typically two or three learning support aides. This number includes 20 part-time students in our nursery.
We think that a nurturing setting where a youngster may develop their self-esteem is optimal for a child's growth.
We give the kids access to a wide range of educational opportunities that are delivered in various methods to suit their various learning preferences.
As a school that respects human rights, Norman Gate places children's rights at the centre of everything it does.
The community is very much a part of Norman Gate.
