I hope you will find our website fascinating and instructive, whether you are a current parent or caretaker, thinking about bringing your child here in the future, or just curious about our academy. Primary school Old Trafford Community Academy is a lively, welcoming place with lots going on. We're in Trafford, not far from the heart of Manchester. Our enrollment numbers are rising every month, and we currently have over 400 kids listed. As principal, I am extremely proud of the accomplishments of our students and feel incredibly fortunate to work with a superb staff team who put in endless effort to support students, both in the classroom and through our extensive array of extended services. Since working with families is something we value much, we refer to ourselves as a "COMMUNITY academy." We provide a variety of parent-focused events and workshops, as well as frequent stay and play sessions for parents of young children. Old Trafford Community Academy is a good institution, but we aim to improve. We joined Focus Trust because we think that collaborating with other schools that share our goals will best enable us to do this. This school has failed all of my children. The behaviour of the children and the staff is poor and there are constant fights. To get an idea of what it’s like, walk past at lunch or dinner time.
