In 2010 we became the first outstanding school in England to convert to being a self-regulating, autonomous Academy and whilst we have always done things differently to other schools, academisation really allowed the creative thinking of the team to be unleashed. This of course started with the fifth name change in the school’s history. We could have played it safe, and stuck with Eaton Mill Academy but that isn’t our style as anyone who has ever attended a community event at the school will confirm.

The style which has served us well so far is one of constant evolution whilst trying to keep things simple so as the first outstanding convertor in the country what better name could there have been than, The Premier Academy?

Premier of course means ‘first’ but it also means ‘best’ and I am pleased to say that we now have some of the best in the country, the most amazing facilities that you will ever see in a primary school and most importantly we provide our services to over 700 clients, also known as TPA children.

It really is true that every child deserves a great start in life and at TPA that start is guaranteed.

It is difficult to find a fault with this school, from the teachers to the facilities to its policies it has been first class. The engaging staff are incredible, bringing a smile to my children's faces daily, and to hear that they have had fun whilst learning is both fulfilling and heartwarming. I can honestly say I would recommend to all and it should be the first choice to all.
I and my children love this school - we are greeted with cheery faces from the staff on duty at the gates each morning and afternoon, and the teachers and teaching assistants are great and can't do enough to settle the children and my children come home raving about what they've learnt every day. They love the hot lunches and i can't believe that my children get a taster of and learn a new musical...
It would be difficult to pinpoint the best thing about this school. I have had nothing but positive experiences since my first visit. Staff are knowledgeable, supportive and attentive in ensuring children's needs are met effectively. Class teachers and supporting staff have gone above and beyond to make sure that children are understood and their interests considered when approaching new challenges. Children are taught at a high standard which shows in how well they do...
I would find it hard to criticise the school in any capacity. Since the moment I first stepped foot in the place I was made to feel welcome and was encouraged to develop and grow. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on my journey.
