We can't wait to see you all tomorrow as we say goodbye to you for the summer and welcome you back to school.
We have been working hard this summer, as you may have noticed, both inside and outside of the classroom.
The completed new security fencing will significantly improve how employees and students may use the area.
In our administrative area, there is also a modern conference space.
Over the next couple of weeks, an electronic signing in system for staff and visitors will also be installed.
Undoubtedly the biggest work we have had in school is a brand-new heating system, we are exceptionally grateful to Newcastle Council for securing funding for this work.
The internal work such as pipes and new radiators is finished however there is still some external work in the boiler house which will be completed this half term.
The gates onto the yard will open at about 8:30am and remain open until 9:00am, please help by exiting the school site as soon as you've dropped off your children.
The children will be shown where to line up by staff members who will be outdoors in the morning.
Please remember to check that every child is wearing the proper attire, including black school shoes, and that everything is well labelled.
I am currently putting up a display in the entrance to celebrate Elmer's Great North Parade, if you have a photograph of your elephant hunting please bring one in to add to the collection.
I am feeling so honoured and privileged to be able to begin this academic year as your head teacher, our children are delightful and a true credit to you and the school.
Regent Farm is in such an exciting phase right now, and I'll be sure to keep you updated on all of our plans for the coming year.
In the meanwhile, feel free to contact me at any time if you have any queries, additional recommendations, or comments regarding our adjustments to the school website.
