From the Rosemary Works School

Rosemary Works School is a non-selective independent co-educational primary school, with a pre-school nursery class, taking children from the age of 3 to 11 years old.

We have a strongly nurturing ethos that runs through everything that we do, and informs all of the decisions that we make. At the core of Rosemary Works School is the belief that primary school should be a place of happiness and safety, where children are eager to learn and have the space to thrive.

We offer a broad indoor and outdoor curriculum, designed to inspire our pupils with a life-long love of learning, and to provide them with the skills that will enable them to embrace confidently the opportunities and challenges that life will bring to them. Our curriculum is innovative and exciting, and our skilled teachers are dedicated to finding the ‘superpower’ inside every one of our pupils.

We provide wraparound care for our children, 49 weeks a year. Our extra-curricular clubs and holiday play-schemes offer an array of activities to enrich the pupils’ experience at Rosemary Works. These include musical instrument tuition, arts and crafts, sports, performing arts, and an array of outings.

We are based on the border of Islington and Hackney, alongside the Regent’s Canal. We occupy a bright 2-story building, with two playgrounds, a ball pitch, and garden. We are just a couple of minutes’ walk from the new Britannia Leisure Centre, Shoreditch Park and Rosemary Gardens, and we make good use of the sporting facilities that they provide. Our proximity to the City and the centre of London gives us excellent access to a vast array of institutions, such as The Royal Institution, London Zoo, and the many museums and arts centres that provide excellent programmes designed for schools.

My child, now 7, loves the school. She goes in and comes out with a smile and has loved all her teachers since Nursery Class. I'm extremely happy with where she is at with her learning at her age. She has made good friends, and with the school being small, comes the advantage of being able to play with children from all age groups. Her confidence has rocketed high as a result! The communication from...
A badly run school. Overpriced, with unclear academic outcomes, poor discipline and care for students.
