From the South Benfleet Primary School
In our large primary school, there are 420 students divided into 14 classrooms. Since there are no mixed-age year group programmes, we are fortunate to be able to provide single year group classes. From the September following their fourth birthday until they are eleven years old and transition to high school, children attend South Benfleet Primary School. We use a theme-based curriculum to teach, which links learning and makes it more enjoyable, realistic, applicable, and remembered. We take great pride in the school buildings, which have a traditional layout and style but are constantly being modernised and enhanced. We offer a library, a huge play area, and a specially designed computer room. We make good use of the athletic field and swimming pool at our school. We participate in a number of regional tournaments and have several successful school sports teams. For the 4-5 year olds, we offer a specially constructed Foundation Stage unit with adjacent outside play areas. Our parents are wonderful and helpful and actively support the goals and mission of the school.
