To complete our Early Years Foundation Stage Unit, our school will expand from a single form entry to a two form entry setting with a 60 place nursery. The architects of the new structure thought about how to house up to 420 children while preserving the intimate atmosphere of the smaller school. One of the most significant aspects of the new structure is a central hub, or the "heart-space," through which all school traffic will pass occasionally throughout the day. Small "break out" areas outside each group of classes contribute to the sense of family and belonging. The school's structure has an angelic appearance and faces the neighbourhood. We would like to believe that by welcoming the community it serves, our school is proclaiming that it is a place where kids are cherished and loved and where learning actually happens.
