A Christian community called Stella Maris was established with the goal of establishing God's kingdom in the here and now.
In this context, we try to support St. Paul's claim that "we are God's work of art, formed in Christ Jesus to live the good life as he had intended us to live it from the beginning" (Ephesians 2:10).
The ethos we have developed at Stella Maris is based on two sets of values: learning values and ethical values, which are connected through the curriculum we provide.
Our school's aim is to use learning, recreation, and friendship to further the establishment of God's kingdom.
We shall accomplish this with the following tools: respect, love, trust, sharing, and caring.
"In our school, we want each person to have the attitude and capacity to work together towards shared objectives and aspirations in a secure and supportive environment," reads one of our "five words," which also serves as a guide for how we support and encourage good behaviour. Creativity: "In our school, we want each person to be able to think for themselves in order to create new knowledge and to develop the confidence to solve problems." These two sets of values work together to create a loving community where students are prepared for life as responsible citizens who can make a valued contribution to society.
