From the Wigston Academy
We are pleased to have you visit Wigston Academy, a member of the Wigston Academies Trust.
Before moving on to our Trust neighbour, Wigston College, for sixth form and the next stage of their education, the Academy serves an 11–16 age group in Years 7–11.
In our schools, we strive to establish a secure, supportive environment where both our kids and teachers are familiar with one another.
The Academy is a place where individual differences are valued and where we acknowledge that each person learns differently.
Our inclusive teaching style ensures that no student is left behind and that they all receive the support they require to advance and achieve progress.
Relationships with parents and students are equally important to this.
As the headteacher of Wigston Academy, I don't have a very complicated theory of what I think constitutes the finest schools, and my basic approach is to keep things as simple as possible.
My top interests are the following: exceptional exam results, flawless conduct, excellent instruction, and the broadest range of high-quality extracurricular opportunities for all students.
