From the Wooden Hill Primary and Nursery School
We are all incredibly proud of our school here at Wooden Hill Primary and Nursery School. Since the kids are at the centre of all we do, they look forward to going to school. They feel secure, grow more self-assured, and excel in school. One of the characteristics that distinguishes Wooden Hill from other schools is the welcoming and upbeat culture that visitors to the school frequently mention. Working together with parents and carers is something we strongly believe in, and the staff and governors put in a lot of effort to make sure that every child gets the outcomes they deserve and enjoys school. Since I assumed my position in June 2015, there have been a lot of adjustments that have improved the school and its results. This was noted in our November 2015 Ofsted report, which rated the school as a good school. When the school had another inspection in May 2019 and was recognised as still being a good school, we were overjoyed to have this reaffirmed. Being in charge of this school, with its great students and staff, makes me proud. As we continue on our path to becoming even better, I will continue to make sure that the school grows stronger. If you are thinking about enrolling your child at Wooden Hill School and would like to schedule a visit, please call the school office. However, the best way to see what we are like is to visit and see for yourself. I hope that this website will help to answer many of your questions.
