From the North Birmingham Academy
As he considered the interactions between students, staff, and other members of the school community during our OFSTED Inspection in March 2018, a team inspector referred to North Birmingham Academy as "a microcosm of the very best of British Society."
We strive to improve on the aforementioned comment as an example of effective equality and diversity in action since we are incredibly proud of the diversity in our community.
North Birmingham Academy is an inclusive school where we place a strong emphasis on each student's success and well-being and treat every member of our community with respect.
The Equality Act, in our opinion, provides a framework to support our commitment to valuing diversity, combating prejudice, promoting equality, and encouraging positive interpersonal interactions.
Through our curriculum, we make sure that all protected characteristics are discussed with and taught to our students.
Our top priorities for the following three years are listed below.
Based on our examination of statistics and other facts, we have equality goals.
Our equality goals are concentrated in the areas where we have committed to taking steps to advance equality and address disadvantages.
